How often should backups run?
For most businesses, at least daily, and more often for busy systems. We set the schedule from how much work you could afford to redo.
Is cloud storage such as OneDrive a backup?
No. Sync services copy changes, including deletions and ransomware encryption, to every device. A backup keeps separate historical copies that you can go back to.
How quickly can you restore our systems?
It depends on the size of the data and the design chosen. We agree a target recovery time with you up front and test against it.
How do we know the backups work?
Because we restore from them on a schedule and show you the results. A backup that has not been tested should not be trusted.
